Nikken Foods sponsors on-site tours for local elementary, junior high, and senior high school students, pupils at special-needs schools, and faculty members, as well as offering internships and dispatching employees to regional elementary schools to teach integrated-learning classes. These activities help us communicate the company’s role in the supply chain which sustains the food business and share the joy of dining and the value of food manufacturing to the regional children who represent the next generation.
Nikken Foods is committed to the eradication of hunger and poverty, and is a member of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), which provides food assistance across the globe.
Nikken Foods sponsors blood drives twice annually at the Shizuoka headquarters. The company has been commended with awards by both the Japanese Red Cross Society and the Shizuoka Prefectural Governor for the longevity of its program.
